Q. What are Gali Girls?

Gali Girls are the first Jewish dolls of their kind. Gali Girls represent Jewish values such as modesty, kindness, respect, and charity, among others. Gali Girls are modestly dressed in trendy shirts and skirts to distinguish them from most other dolls on the market that are dressed to accentuate their bodies.
Q. What size are Gali Girls?

Gali Girls are 18-inch dolls and their clothes are interchangeable with most other 18" dolls (including American Girl).
Q. Are these 'American Girl' dolls?
A.
No. Gali Girls are original Jewish dolls, with all Jewish accessories. Gali Girls, Inc. is an independently owned company and not affiliated with the Mattel or American Girl company.
Q. Are Gali Girls plastic or soft bodied?
A.
Gali Girls are soft-bodied dolls, with vinyl faces, arms and legs. They are pose-able dolls, and can stand and sit independently.
Q. What do Gali Girls come with?
A.
Each Modern Gali Girl comes with matching magen-david bracelets (for doll and for girl); a Hebrew and English name birth certificate (or you can custom order a name); and a 12 piece toy wooden Shabbat Kit (Historical character Gali Girls excluded). Right now there are 4 varieties of Gali Girls:
1. Blonde Hair, braids, pink button down blouse, denim skirt with pink flower motif, pink shoes.
2. Brown Hair, ponytails, blue hooded butterfly sweatshirt, denim skirt with butterfly motif, white sneakers.
3. Blonde Hair, ponytails, lavender shirt, denim skirt with flower motif, lavender shoes.
4. Red Hair, wavy, pink button down blouse, denim skirt with pink flower motif, pink shoes.

Q. Do all Gali Girls have straight hair?

Currently, all Gali Girls have straight hair. In the near future we hope to introduce new Gali Girls with curly hair. Gali Girls have beautiful, soft, brushable, styleable hair. To style Gali Girl hair, simply dampen the hair, style, and let dry.
Q. What color are Gali Girls eyes?

Q. What ages are Gali Girls appropriate for?
A. We recommend ages 4-11, however your child might be ready to play with dolls even earlier.
Q. What are the Gali Girls' names?
A. Each Gali Girl comes with her own unique Hebrew and English name. Some names reflect traditional Jewish female names, such as Rachel and Sarah. Others reflect more modern Hebrew names, such as Gavriella and Ilana. You can also request to have a blank certificate so that you can fill it out yourself!
